24 hours in Bad Honnef – Rhine romanticism, art nouveau and the “Old One“

To make it clear in advance – the city offers much more than what you can discover in 24 hours, but a first step should be made and there are always reasons to come back!

We combine the classics of the city here: the Rhine, the center of the town, and Rhöndorf with the residence of West Germany’s first chancellor: Konrad Adenauer. Of course, the “Hausberg” cannot be forgotten! Even if the Drachenfels already belongs to the city of Königswinter, the view from up there over Bad Honnef and its offshore Rhine islands is unmatched!

The Siebengebirge, the Rhine and a touch of culture – what you can experience within 48 hours in Bad Honnef!

In two days you can get active in addition to the classic city sightseeing! The Siebengebirge offers a variety of hikes: One of the most beautiful ones is certainly the hike from Rommersdorf over the Tretschbachtal to the Löwenburg. Would you like to change your perspective? Then go on a boat tour on the Rhine! Letting the Siebengebirge pass by as you cruise on the water is probably one of the most relaxing ways to experience the famous “Seven Mountains”.
